All this is really doing is dividing us earlier and earlier. White kids are going to wonder why they can't dress up anymore and they'll find out it's "because of minorities". Even though it's really because of white liberals.

From 2019
quote:

While we recognize that Halloween is a fun tradition for many families, it is not a holiday that is celebrated by all members of our school community and for various reasons," Cooney wrote in her email. "There are also inequities in how we have traditionally observed the holiday as part of our school day. Our goal at Lincoln is to provide space and opportunities for all students to be part of the community — not to create an environment that may feel exclusive or unwelcoming to any child."

Nejra Bajric, whose son attends the second grade at Lincoln Elementary, said she was frustrated by the decision. “Halloween is a cultural American holiday, and it’s being canceled because of religious groups,” Bajric told the Tribune. “We’re a Bosnia and Muslim immigrant and refugee family. Halloween, when we moved (to Chicago) from a different country, was one of the greatest things.”

why can't we just divide the country into 2 separate countries? West and East America? One country for libs/progs and one for the rest?

This is the first time I have ever heard that. Back when my kids were little and we would take them trick or treating there were always a good number of black families doing so to.

But the mind of a progressive is a very strange place, they live in a reality all of their own.

Halloween is so awesome for kids that Christian churches that don't like it create alternate fall fests to give kids free candy. All kids like free candy.

Halloween events create a situation where some students must be excluded for their beliefs, financial status, or life experience. Costume parties often become an uncomfortable event for many children, and they distract students and staff from learning. Large events create changes in schedules with loud noise levels and crowds. Some students experience over stimulation, while others must deal with complex feelings of exclusion. It’s uncomfortable and upsetting for kids.

This is what happens when the loser kids who nobody liked grow up and get employed by schools. Nothing to do with racism and everything to do with taking all the fun out of the things they were excluded from because they’re lonely miserable people
