Twitter vid of guy getting kicked out for streaming
I thought of this last night:
What happened to the anti-bullying movement?
That’s what these people are, bullies.
They don’t like the name of a street, they protest, loot & bully local government until it gets changed.
They don’t like something someone said they then bully their employer until they fire them.
They don’t like the beliefs of Chick Fil A’s owners? They block their drive thru causing them to close, causing hourly employees to not get paid.

What happened to being anti fascists?

Being anti fascist is fine except when those self proclaimed anti fascist (Antifa that is) themselves have a lot in common with fascist

Northerners in general crack me up. I went to a 50% black public school in the south. Those pasties have probably never sat between two black people for lunch much less spent any appreciable time with a group of them.

A block party? Is that what the people inside of CHAZ calling it? A party?
This is excellent. Any reporter worth their salt should be asking them the same question

I live in Seattle and have a lot of friends who live in Cap Hill just slightly outside of the CHAZ. This whole thing is fricked, IMHO. A lot of the residents and small business owners are not on board with this and are miserable and the city is just standing down and allowing it with no end in sight.
I do think some of the stuff going around social media is probably fake, like businesses being extorted for protection fees. I also think the number of people involved who view this as real autonomous zone with a chance to break away from the city is very small, and the city is basically trying to let some fools have their fun LARPing for a bit hoping it will just go away. The Raz stuff is true and a real issue though.
Like I said, the truth is in the middle of the information we see on the internet.
Thanks for confirming the Raz stuff, though. Not sure how DS can defend it.

Serious question:
After all this shakes out and they finally get bored, or the city "leaders" finally decide to do their jobs, do those business owners have any recourse to sue the local and state government for allowing this nonsense to happen? I imagine those businesses suffered during corona shutdowns, and after they were finally allowed to reopen the government stands by and let's this crap happen?
Can they sue for damages and loss of income?

And its only been a couple of days and they are already fighting.....how awesome.....

I bet the odor is tremendous at that place. Are they even smart enough to understand that it's not going to last or turn out well for them?
