Those police officers trying to enter the precinct in that twitter video look like whipped dogs.
Sad.
Sad.

I live in Seattle and have a lot of friends who live in Cap Hill just slightly outside of the CHAZ. This whole thing is fricked, IMHO. A lot of the residents and small business owners are not on board with this and are miserable and the city is just standing down and allowing it with no end in sight.
Psh, whatever man
Reddit user ILuvwhitewomenz69 says none of this is happening.

Did they vote for their city government? Elections have consequences. Sometimes not immediately.

I think there is a group of peaceful people that would like to move in.
They believe in god.
Have a fleet of church buses and dress alike.
They all have the same bowl hair cuts.
They are heavily armed to protect themselves from outsiders that do not believe in their cause.
Even offered some red punch and said something about meeting them on the other side.
They sound like good people maybe they should move to Chaz.

Man I almost want nothing more than to walk into that “garden” and spray roundup everywhere.

It is potting soil on top of cardboard.
The plants can’t even take root.
The closest these individuals have come to “farming” is if they ever played Farming Simulator on their computers.

The CHAZsters in three weeks.

Those were the good ol' days
I remember it came in a 3-pack that included SimEarth (yawn), SimFarm, and the original SimCity. I think my parents got it for me at bookfair.

The libs are falling over themselves on how this is viable.
They don’t get that you can put cardboard down around Established root systems to keep weeds down,
You can’t plant stuff in 4 inches of potting soil on top of Cardboard and expect it to root

Northerners in general crack me up. I went to a 50% black public school in the south. Those pasties have probably never sat between two black people for lunch much less spent any appreciable time with a group of them.
Yep. Most of their experiences with black people are what they have seen on Netflix.

Would releasing the residents of a psychiatric hospital in Seattle look much different than the actions of these guys? Would we be able to tell the difference?

“We’re dealing with a question of how Black people have been disenfranchised for so long, pulled out of the economic system,” he says. “One way of doing that is not giving people access to land.”
Stay in school. Don't commit a crime. Get a job. Save money. Buy land. That is how everyone else does it.

But Black land ownership, particularly in the farming sector, has dropped precipitously over the last century; in the 1920s, America had nearly a million Black-owned farms. By the 1970s, it was down to less than 50,000.
Same for White farmers jackass.

Someone should explain to the writer what the word "sprouting" means.
