you think that people diagnosed with OCD should be banned from possessing guns? ADHD?
What I would do is a judicially correct interpretation of the 2nd Amendment. Problem(s) solved.

I mean dude is doing his constitutional duty. And the fact that he's trying to save his client from the death penalty is part of that job.

With sentences like this, I bet your interpretation would be top notch.

Save him? frick that. Kill him!

Being a defense lawyer for people like this has to be one of the shittiest jobs I can think of. I couldn't live with myself defending mass murderers.

We are well past that point. He needs the death penalty and swiftly.

I listen to Mark Levin pretty much daily, a bunch of parents called in the last couple of days talking about the medications children are put on these days. They think all the various diagnoses and medications children are put on at an early age nowadays is partly to blame for a lot of this type of behavior.
I’m not a parent nor am I a doctor or pharmacist, I don’t know if that’s the case or not. Anybody got any thoughts behind that premise?
I'm sure it plays a role.
I bet t-ball, little league, a fishing pole, and a few family dinners at the table growing up would make a bigger difference in a kids life than medicating them so young.

This pretty much sums up ultra liberal philosophy in one statement.

You do realize that it's a lawyer's job to do everything they can to come up with a defense of their client don't you?
No lawyer is ever going to come out and say "frick my client, send him to the chair."

According to reports, Cruz and his brother both suffered from mental health issues, including ADHD and OCD, and took medication as treatment.
Something smells shitty. ADHD and OCD don't lead down THIS path. I'd be curious what kind of drugs he was on that created this level of psychosis.

What else do you expect the attorney to say? He didn't do it? This is a mistaken identity?
The attorney can't just walk in there and say, "My client is an a-hole that doesn't deserve to take one more breath."

So it's the medication and not an underlying mental health issue, and you can definitively claim this because...?
They likely all had cell phones too, but I doubt that was the cause of their actions.

But instead of beating our chest, saying frick that loser, ugly arse bitch, hang him now etc etc etc , How about we study him and make strides to prevent this shite from happening again?
We have a clearly mentally ill kid that was allowed to go unchecked with guns. This country keeps fricking these things up, and calling these kids losers, weak, and pussies isnt doing anything but guaranteeing it will happen again

19 is a "child"? I thought you frickers wanted to be treated as adults.....
frick that piece of shite.

i actually feel sorry for this kid as well. he went to fricking subway for a sandwich after the shooting.
i'm not saying he shouldn't pay for what he did, but thats not the act of a hardened criminal..its the act of someone with severe mental illness.

I'm wondering if this guy was self medicating. Drug abuse can certainly play a part in leading a mentally ill person down this path.

Tell me the side effects of taking these types of medications, especially in the younger population
Posted on 2/16/18 at 11:11 am to Bourre
Yeah it's the drugs that did it, not the disorders they were treating
