I’m slightly north of Saraland. I am extremely fortunate. Only a ton of medium sized branches down and one tree leaning on the back of the property. No damage to anything important. Power has been out since last night.

There's some threads going around on Twitter. I'll post more as I come across them.

Never cease to be amazed how many people steal content on social media. Seeing the pic of the 3 Mile Bridge in Pensacola being shared by tons of people without attribution to the person who first took it
From the people who are concerned about the loss of property and the safety of loved ones, let me be the first one to tell Steve Caparotta, Ph.D., "frick You."

Was wondering about the Beach Club. Family owned a condo there for a while. Thanks for the pics.

What’s the proper thing to do with a boat if it’s there and you’re not? Just make sure to have it insured?

Zeke’s, Sportsman, and every other marina or dock in the area is destroyed.

How big a shithead does one have to be to be losing it over your perceived "copyright" of disaster photos at a time like this?

Anybody post pics from Destin? My wife (no pics) is supposed to head that way on Thursday, but I'm guessing they won't have power restored by then.
My house right past Destin still has power. I’m not sure if anywhere in Destin has lost power yet.

Have someone assess it for damage first and see how bad it looks. If it is in bad shape try to salvage what you can and then call the insurance company, file the claim, and let them handle the rest.

The NOAA water level gauge in Pensacola Bay peaked at 6.53 feet (preliminary) relative to NAVD standard. This looks to be the 6th highest on record since 1900 behind only Ivan, Frederic, Opal and two storms from the early 1900s.
