Subtle brag noted.

Additionally, probably unintentional “my gf’s family has more money than sense” announcement noted as well.

I know Sally snuck up on folks East of the Land Mass but the lesson here is to have a Plan B & a Plan C.

I’m not sure anything is locked at this point with a storm moving 2 mph.

Ft Morgan to Gulf Shores is most likely I’d say. Sally is still just drifting. Nothing is really controlling the steering one way or the other. It’s competing forces.

Off Topic Question:

Looks like Marco may reform again next week as a hurricane in the gulf. Will it still be called Marco?

Fort Morgan to Pensacola since it's not going to get farther west and might be slow enough to have the NE push get it to Pensacola by landfall. Earlier the landfall, farther west it will be within that range.

Why would I be trying to brag about someone else's wealth?

It was pretty intentional.

What? Marco was a few weeks ago. Its remnants are long gone and dead.

It’s not Marco. Had nothing to do with it.

Yeah, Marco's long dead. The shear took his head off and Laura buried the body.

To your question, check out the history of Hurricane Ivan to see how a same name would work.

Something to keep an eye on.
Right now - Sally is roughly 65 miles out from Mobile Bay going 2mph. At that speed - no matter where she decides to head north - She's about a full day from making a landfall. Time to start looking at tide times for tomorrow. 1 or 2mph faster forward speed would bring it onshore during high tide most places.

ETA:

Decided to change nautical miles to standard miles.
