Rounding up is a scam!
Whatever store (Lowe's, Home Depot, Wal-Mart) bundle that total and donate those millions to charities only to claim that as a charitable donation not on your behalf, but on theirs, thereby reducing their taxable income, not yours.
We donate to reputable charity organizations directly so our family gets the tax credit in accordance with the law.

I decline these. In the end the store writes a check and it becomes a tax write-off for them. I’m not helping them do that. I’ll donate directly to a charity.

"Wanna round up to help children in need?'
Gotta wonder how much makes it there.

Cashier: "Would you like to round up"
Me: "You can round it down."
Me: "You can round it down."
