Every. Single. Time.

I visit my parents every Friday on my lunch break at work. First thing I do is check their fridge.

I’m feeding a family of four on middle-class income. Wife is a teacher. I look forward to something else other than a sandwich at lunch.
I don’t do pizza parties, but I try to buy lunch once a month a breakfast once a month for my dept. unusually let them choose. Pizza, chick fil a , sandwiches. Whatever they want, just our dept hanging out and eating a free lunch. I am pretty sure they appreciate it.

Took the kids out to lake road. No success on the canal on the right. Went down to end of the road ant got about a dozen small crabs in the lake. Kept enough for gumbo

Is there a place I can take my kids to maybe get a few dozen crabs using crab nets? Madisonville, Mandeville, etc.

Coolio. Purchased from Blockbuster

Chicken and sausage gumbo, potato salad.

It’s never too hot for gumbo.
I have been using the 2 pot method for a couple years and the shrimp peel perfectly every time.

First I boil my potatoes and veggies in seasoned water. When they are done I cut it off and let water cool for a little while. Maybe 20-30 mins

In my other pot I bring plain water to a rolling boil and then drop in the shrimp. I don’t time it. I boil them until the meat starts pulling away from the shells. Just keep checking. Once this occurs, I pull them out and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking. I then throw them in the seasoned pot for literally as long as you want. You basically have a 1/16” gap between the meat and shells filled with seasoned water.

Perfect every time.

It seems like a lot but I typically only boil 7-10lbs of shrimp for the family so I am using just a large stock pot.

Are they any good? Do they actually add a notable flavor?
What happened to protecting the plate with 2 strikes?
Had some from Covington location last night. Extremely impressed. I was expecting bland, but they were very spicy and peeled well
I’ll be honest. Quality was basic. Fit was just ok. I don’t recommend it. 200% marketing bullshite. Same quality as Academy BCG line. Avoid it.
I’m here at the PMAC.

It’s good, not great. Moist. Good icing content. Certainly a good value. Something I would bring home to the family on a weekday, but not to a party or friends house.
I had an 07 Camry that I drove 250k miles before selling, no real issues.

I currently drive a 15 Accord, at 240k miles and no issues with this either.

The Accord is sportier and has better suspension and handling than my Camry. Honestly don’t think you could go wrong with either. When it is time for a new one, I will judge technology package and price and make a decision based on that. Either one is going to go 300k miles

Father’s Day should be early November, first Saturday. Football, bourbon, campfire, smoker, etc.
Welp, going down this rabbit hole now. Thx

Why not a squeeze there?

If it fails, you still have a RISP with top of the lineup ?
