Restoring the family...old school values

I'm had it up to here with the deterioration of the family unit in our country. Divorce is rampant and leaves a trail of pain that cascades down for generations. Time to institute some good old fashion common sense...families need to spend time together....not on electronics.
All TV and Internet should shut down at 8pm every night...no media being accessible for anyone.
Families Will start playing games together and talking again.

Good luck with that. Read up on Pandora's Box. Children are hooked on electronic gadgets from birth now and that is only going to get worse. Once you hook them as children, it is virtually impossible to separate them as adults. Kind of like religion.

I agree, and teachers should be able to beat kids in school again. I acted a fool in the 2nd grade once, my teacher took me out in the hallway immediately and gave me three licks with a big assed paddle. No trip to the office, no call home, no time out.
Here's the kicker. I never fricking acted a fool like that again. True story.

The family unit is completely disintegrating in the United States today, and that certainly is leading to the moral and social issues we have. Very much in decline as a nation.

Where the frick do y'all live? All I see around me is families....literally, every kid gets picked up from school by at least one family member...no kids show up to yacht club alone.
