I would choose the same. In recovery as well, and my main thing was pills. Any of them. Over 22 years now but I still wouldn’t let myself count them all day long.

That's pretty accurate. You have to be prepared to take ANY job when it comes to this situation. Yeah, it sucks a lot. A LOT. But thats just the way it works unfortunately. Unless your daddy knows someone or you come from money, that's just the way of the world.

you know, it's really weird... b/c i was active in my addiction from 2006 to 2013.... wife then caught me with a huge bag of pills i had, so the cat was out the bag, and that's when i started NA... i detoxed myself, started seeing a psychiatrist, but stayed practicing... and for a long, long time i never once had an urge to use... i thought i was fricking cured, no lie! and that was even without working a strong program... but like i said, one day i woke up and wanted to get high, so i did... went on a few 2-3 day sprees every couple of months, not near the amount as before, but still... but for a long time, i was able to work around it with no problem...

This is not actionable advice in any way, but after playing with ChatGPT a bunch lately, there's going to be a whole new field in the corporate workplace soon.

People that are able to interact well with ChatGPT, or any other AI that pops up, are going to be in high demand to automate a lot of things.

Industrial gas entry level sales jobs - think Linde, Air Liquide, Air Products, etc. Usually ~$60k base + commission + car allowance

Hell no. CompSci in the 90s thought teaching me LISP had a purpose.

Just use online training to learn to code. However, coders are easily outsourced, and generally very cheap for US based resources until you get to 15+ years of experience.
