It’s still a fun show to watch, but isn’t a shell of itself for multiple reasons:

- 26 days, not 39 really takes away from the Outlast portion of the game. As a viewer, you don’t get as much camp life material even with episodes being longer.

- Casting used to be all about all walks of life. Now it feels like it’s all “Theater Kids” or ppl from the Ivy Leagues. Even the oldest dude this season was a Hollywood producer. I need a grizzly blue collar guy working with a corporate VP. That’s interesting.

- Jeff himself said it’s all about entertaining the kids. So, everything they do is to get new young viewers. This leads to too many dumb advantages and now stupid cameos from YouTube celebrities.

- Can’t think of any other way to put it, but Jeff is cringe. He used to be tough on contestants and now just cries alongside them. So, tired of sob stories and Jeff encouraging it.

There’s more, too…that’s just off the top of my head.

All that said, it’s one of the only shows on tv that my entire household all likes and is family friendly. Hopefully, season 50 will be a fun one!

Happy Savannah won.

Almost threw up seeing Mr Beast.
Really enjoyed this one. Fraser was great. It was somewhat predictable, but in a way that I appreciated. It’s almost family friendly, too.
I think Savannah has this in the bag already. Nobody will beat her in the upcoming immunity challenges. And if they do, she has her trio. I also think the jury doesn’t respect Rizzo’s game. We shall see.
Cookout? Sure, it’s possible.

But, based on the way they’ve edited Kristina as a buffoon, I just don’t see it.

But, someone will make the mistake of carrying Christina to the end and she will win with the jury.

I think there’s an exactly 0% chance Kristina wins, even if brought to final 3.

My guess is writers were driving home the underlying issues and wanted to show Ruffalo back in his former priesthood role kind of reading him his last rights and so forth…but for realism, yeah he should’ve stayed with the team.

Mare of Eastown was great, too, I’d put Task slightly above it if I had to choose.

Thanks! Missed it.

Task (HBO)

Did a quick search and didn’t see a discussion on this one.

Highly recommend. Great storylines with very few plot holes. The acting was incredibly well done. Set in the rural part of Philly (near where I live), it was pretty to the “t” on the overall culture of the area.
What I think helps is Kane and KDB play a lot of guys, which gives them in game experience and pays off down the line. CNS, on the other hand, always seemed to go with seniority (unless it was obvious, ie Minkah) and not much pt for younger guys.

Knowing Auburn hiring practices, it’s gotta be Art Briles.
Horrible cast. Basically, all theatre kids besides Nate. I wish they’d go back to getting a cast with some blue collar folks and ppl willing to pick a fight if need be.

I keep seeing random products at stores collaborating with Stranger Things and am just thinking how horrible an idea that is for somebody in marketing to approve that.
I’d say it’ll be Ross, Walt Weiss, or some off the radar coach the GM knows from his time in Toronto.
If you take time to look into the case, you will find it’s a lot more than an accusation. He talks about it in his books and sermons.

He’s a prosperity-Gospel preaching pedo and deserves what he’s getting.

And he was Trump’s spiritual advisor.

Sounds like it is a Mexican since the Mexican Consulate is involved according to news stories.

I’ve actually driven through this place a couple of times and know that entire area is full of Mexicans who work in restaurants and at the many farms. So, that’s very possible.
