Mobile has a vibrant culture. Their Mardi Gras is classy. Not at all trashy like Nolas.

Sure it is. It doesn’t have the worlds shittiest bridge. I thought we went over this?

Besides I didn’t say anything about Mobile being BRs little brother or you having a complex about it.

Mobile having a 745 foot tall building is one of the most out of place structures in the world.

It's a nice skyline, but very far from the most stunning.

That tall building is way out of place for a poor city with a metro population of 430,000.

To put it into context, Shreveport and Lafayette both have larger metro populations than Mobile. Shreveport has a 365 ft tall building. Lafayette prob doesn't even have a 200 ft building. Yet, somehow Mobile has a 745 ft building? Gotta be a bad return on investment on that one.

That's what bothers me about OKC's skyline:

I think the buildings in Mobile are beautiful. Adds a lot of charm and character to the downtown area

I have always loved the canopy trees that soar above the little roads. They are just beautiful

My favorite part of mobile is eating at Dick Russell’s bbq. That place brings back so many memories and it’s the best bbq in the south. The waitresses there are wonderful and very pretty.

I also think Airport Road has some of the best shopping and restaurants in the south. It’s amazing the vibe and culture of that area. There’s a little bit of everything for everyone on that stretch of road.

Hank Aaron Stadium is a gem. So much nostalgia when you walk into that temple of a baseball stadium.

I had to move to the beach but looking forward to retiring in the Prichard/Spanish Fort area in the coming years

Lol, now we know this is trolling. Airport Blvd. Hartwell Field was a gem until they leveled it. Dick Russell's? Don't eat anywhere on Hwy 90.

Come on man!

I donot see Airbus, Thyssen Krupp, and soon to be Novelis in any Louisiana city. While we’re at it, any Hyundai or Mercedes plants to speak of?

LINK

We can make fun of the RSA tower, that also invested in the RTJ golf trail that Louisiana poorly imitated with the Audubon trail.

Louisiana doesn’t want to pick a fight with just about any state on business development issues.

Mobile has done a good job making their older high rises look more modern. At least somebody understands a thing or two about visual impressions.
