It's just breathtaking. Great shot of the Port City. It's amazing how Mobile is evolving into a cutting-edge, modern city. World-Famous for the birth of Mardi Gras!

It's pretty enough. Not sure about "stunning". I like Mobile, even if it's skyline is one step better than Lafayette (La) and it pretends to be an expert on Mardi Gras.

Mobile has Airbus, which was a huge get IMO.

ETA: Where is TulaneLSU with his "top 10 skyscrapers of Slidell"?

Only people from Mobile would add half arse empty spires to their buildings to make them look classy. The “Chrysler 300 portholes” of the architecture world.

Those portholes look like shite. Thankfully, the real 300's don't have them.

Mardi Gras actually started down river from New Orleans several years before mobile claims to have started it

Just sayin

As a kid, I always thought that one building looked like it had a pair of eyes when we’d drive to a Florida. It stares at you all the way to the tunnel. That sky line is fugly.

alabama also claims more championships than they've actually won, so i'm not surprised they claim mardi gras as well. next you'll see, "the philly cheesesteak started in mobile".

That little dome was always an eye sore any time I'd drive by it.

The bigger eyesore is the smaller white glass building with the twin spire looking things just behind the dome with the teal glass.

WHAT IS THAT?

It looks like how someone would design a crappy aquarium or something.

It has always been so funny tk me driving over the Dolly Parton bridge and you can see the lone tall “skyscraper” way off on the horizon. It’s very odd and almost dystopian feeling.
