It's a GenZ/Alpha thing. Kids aren't motivated by the same things that older generations were. The American way is totally lost on them. They have basically been indoctrinated that the old way of life a big sham, or that it's destructive or threatening. Kids today are actually fricked up beyond all repair.

With Kamario Taylor on campus, I'll hold out some hope for football. The roster is now way better than it was 6 months ago. We should win a couple of SEC games this year. I think Taylor will be set to take over next year. At any rate there is a different energy within the program. Most of the fans don't realize that right now.
Basketball will have a more talented roster on paper, but with several new names coming into the fold. Will they gel??
Baseball is getting a reset. I expect an impressive new coach but in all likelihood 2026 will probably be a wash.

It was cooler when you didn't have to worry about a mass shooting occurring at the show. Also when tickets were $30-50 dollars.
