This is my favorite "Boomer" gotcha. Boomers that used to have to work 100 hrs a week cannot comprehend how younger people can keep up with workload and not have to work weekends.

So the solution is to A: Bitch at younger employees for "not putting in enough hours", or B: Double/triple the workload of said employees and expect them to work long hours to keep up.

So the result is you have a young guy that is capable of using technology as a tool to do twice the work as his predecessors, but for employers that expect to pay them the same rate as their predecessors, and use the excuse that we "aren't dedicated/don't have any drive" to avoid doing so.

Well, I generally come in at least fifteen minutes late, I use the side door - that way My boss can't see me, after that I just sorta space out for about an hour.
I just stare at my desk; but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch, too. I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work.
