Well, Jesus did give a parable where a bunch of workers worked different hours but were given the same wage. But he also gave a parable where a shepherd left 99 sheep exposed in an open field to go find one that had been lost.
So maybe we should be avoid interpreting the words of Jesus to fit our personal narratives.

The bad part is he's even worse on religion. This pope is a complete Earth worshiper and not a follower of Jesus Christ. I'm NOT a Catholic, but damn if this pope didn't take everything Christian and take a huge shart on it. Well the UBI form proposed in this years democratic primary would have been funded by:
(1) a 10% Value Added Tax
(2) reduced costs of existing social programs as UBI would have been opt in
(3) increased tax revenues as the money circulates through the economy
(4) decreased costs associated with child healthcare, incarceration costs, etc (UBI / Cash Transfer has been shown to reduce these costs in Alaska).
The final bit was to be made up through a carbon tax, changing capital gains taxes and some other things like that.

I've never understood why so many think Christianity is somehow compatible with conservatism.
Outside of anti-abortion, is there a single ideal that is the same in both concepts?
I mean, many orders of nuns, and the Jesuits (and even, really, the Christian Brothers) are the original SJWs.
Edited to add that what I wrote above is true if you believe that Christianity is based on the teachings of Jesus. If you believe Christianity is based on the Old Testament, which was a lot more "do for yourself", then I can see where you might think Christianity is more conservative.

Well roughly 90% + of Americans would be better off I think is the number. You would need to spend $12,000 a month on consumer goods to break even each month making a small estimate for modest inflation that will occur. If you are above that mark or have a major stake in a business which will get hit with the VAT, that is kind of the point of it as proposed.
I was just pointing out that the hyper inflation argument does not necessarily apply to well thought out UBI proposal.
