We've all heard the stories of those that struggle to get things they need from the VA, but theres a HUGE contingent of fraudsters that are scamming the VA and probably sat at a desk stateside for their entire enlistment. More attention needs to be paid to VA fraud which is becoming far more apparent.

How did he come up with the $8,000 figure, though? Not saying it's a lie, but the video doesn't indicate how that number came to be.

Yes it does show you how it could be as much as $8000 per month.

Of course it does. I could show you how I could make a million per year but could and IS are two different things. The video does not show her saying she is making 8k a month in VA disability nor does it show the host proving it somehow. It only shows that she could potentially be making that much in disability each month.

I'm not saying this is a lie at all, and I would not be surprised at all if it is indeed true, it's just that the video just sort of skips to him saying she makes 8k a month in disability. If that video were from any media outlet, we'd all be screaming fake news.

They do have great disability payments, but not 8k. I know this for a fact.

look up special monthly compensation. i'm not saying that is for sure what she is getting, but you can absolutely get up to 8k or more.

Standard disability is currently around $4,500.
The video showed that loss of sight, loss of limb, etc. can "possibly" get up to $8,000.

She's lying.

100% disability rating for just her alone would be $3938.58. With kids that would add $201 per child.

Of course there are other variable that can be added in but I cannot see how she would get $8000 even with those variables in place.

A veteran with a 100% disability rating and dependents can receive over $4,671 per month, tax-free. However, this amount can easily exceed $11,000 to $12,000+ per month if the veteran qualifies for Special Monthly Compensation (SMC) for severe conditions like the loss of limbs, blindness, or needing constant Aid and Attendance.

Before anyone steps into the hot seat on Financial Audit, they submit their detailed financial documentation to Caleb Hammer’s production team.

The vetting and prep process involves:

1. Bank & Credit Statements
Applicants are required to grant access to or submit recent statements for all active accounts. This includes:

Checking and savings accounts

Credit cards and store cards

Personal loans, auto loans, and mortgages

Buy Now, Pay Later accounts (Klarna, Affirm, Afterpay, etc.)

Investment and retirement accounts (401k, Roth IRA, crypto wallets)

Tax returns or recent pay stubs/W-2s/1099s to verify income

quote:

2. Pre-Show Data Scrubbing & Organizing
Caleb’s production staff combs through the bank feeds and statements line by line prior to filming. They aggregate the total debt balances, calculate minimum monthly payments, categorize spending habits (like tallying up exact monthly totals spent on DoorDash, Sweetgreen, or Taquitos), and highlight any hidden or unusual transactions.

3. What Caleb Sees vs. What's Concealed
While the team organizes all the data into the main spreadsheet that Caleb reviews on his monitor during the audit, Caleb does not always review everything beforehand. He often likes to go into the initial recording cold to react organically to their income and debt totals, though his team feeds him the organized numbers and pulls up specific line-item statements on screen in real time.

Now just imagine the extreme fraud involved with regular disability. There are whole families on disability. NPR of all outlets did a story on disability abuse 10-15 years ago and it was eye popping. I recall some little town in Alabama where literally half the population got a check just to exist. It’s the new welfare. Welfare never went away, it just got renamed.

They turn over their financial statements to him, hence the “audit” in the shows name

Yes. It is long. No. You won’t be able to turn it off or look away.
