If tweet fails to load, click here. Reportedly 15 people aboard. No word on ground casualties.

Is anyone on here who is an aviation expert able to tell from the way it fell what the issue was?
It looked like it was accelerating into ground

Looks like it was going from Austin, Texas to the Bahamas.

Anything in freefall will accelerate.
We have a few pilots on here who might recognize what was happening.

I’m not a pilot but I think the plane’s anti-gravity flux capacitor failed.

Engines were working, first guess has to be disorientation of pilots
Blancalirio will have it covered shortly

The person in the white car probably needs new pants. That's scary.

Preliminary informs a Learjet 60, which carries 2 pilots plus 8 passengers

I hate private planes. Incredibly selfish and wasteful.
These damn things are constantly dropping like flies endangering everyone else on the ground all because some rich a-hole couldn’t fly commercial like literally every reasonable person. Not to mention that they waste fuel and clog up the skies.
I would ban private planes if I was in charge of the FAA or put a massive tax on them which would fund air safety upgrades

Not a pilot but looks like heavy overcast I'm guessing spatial disorientation.

Flightradar has it as going from 35,250 feet to the last reported altitude before the crash of 8,750 feet in only 84 seconds.
That translates to at least 315 feet per second or 215 mph descent rate which is ~5 to 10 times faster than normal.
The last ground speed reported was 231 knots or 266 mph.
