Don't knock Omega
Not knocking them, my biggest issue with Omega is they roll out 35 special editions of thier sport models. They throw so much shite on the wall hoping to stick.

That one will get you a compliment from true watch nerds.
Women will compliment a watch all the time, but the only time a guy has ever complimented the watch rather than the band was my manta white oceanus. It's a Casio.
He wasn't wrong.

I have the moon sapphire. Mine was on a bracelet instead of leather. For me I always can get the leather band at a later time and the price is reasonable. On my first IWC, l got the leather band. Forward a few years later, and I wanted to get the bracelet as well. The list price on the service part was astronomical. So now I buy everything initially on a bracelet.

Congrats on new Seamaster. The Daniels Co-Axial movement is really cool and is the first new escapement put into mass production in over 100 years. Omega had huge balls to do this.

Congrats on new Seamaster.
It's not new anymore, it's about 4 years old if you look at the date of the OP

The thread got bumped this morning by a "strict homage" spammer.

Good grief, I can't keep them more than a couple of weeks.

Only time I’ve ever been complimented on my watch was a bartender at a restaurant

I dabble, but I don't have a problem, I can quit anytime I want.

Bartenders have been the most common source of comments on my watches as well.

More like if you think a Rolex is a panty dropper, it isn’t. No women ever look at my watch and go “is that a Rolex?”.

I know it may seem like this, but most of the time they actually know a bit about watches. It's not like they are just like "nice Rolex"
