You know my secretary? I try bold, highlighting, underline, all caps. Nothing works.

If you work somewhere that this person accurately uses that “all the time” I don’t think he’s the problem.

Can you repeat the part about the stuff where you said all about the…things?

Does anyone else work with an annoying cocksucker who does this all the time?
I had to do this daily because I had a lazy employee who wouldn't read emails or do his job. This was my way of documenting this fact so I had evidence when I took him to HR.

Solution: read your emails, Karen.

Well maybe you should read your emails because nothing drives me more insane at working than when someone asks me a question when the answer is literally in the email right below.
I always interpret it as avoidance of having the discussion, i.e. confrontation.
Man up soy boy.

My admin does all that for me.
If it's important enough, she'll print it out for me to read.

Sounds like he’s an up and comer, soon to be your next boss.

I’m encountering more and more people that lack reading comprehension skills.
My insurance lady entered in my wrong middle initial on my renewal policy. Ok no big deal. Clerical type errors happen. So I sent her an email saying it’s wrong. My middle initial is X. Not Y. Dummy said per your request, I’ve changed it from X to Y.
Wow

He won’t make it long. You are paid to get the job done. If repeating myself is necessary to my employer getting the job done quickly and effectively then I’m more than happy.
I’m not sure I understand you, but it sounds like he’s actually getting his job done, while simultaneously calling out his lazy co-workers, like the OP, for not doing theirs.

“Pay attention, dumbfrick” was frowned upon by HR.

If a person decides to email a big group of people implying that I didn’t do something…. You better fricking believe my response will include a copy of the previous email.
I can’t stand frickers that copy in people unnecessarily. Thankfully that’s rare where I work, but it was standard fare at a previous spot.

Why is worked and internship back in college, I set up a rule to send anything from one other particular intern straight to the trash.
We would get the stupidest emails from him.

I hate people who get all butt hurt about language and emails. Stop being a pussy and taking everything personally… and do your job

When I receive an email like that, I just get my butler's maid to reply to Chad.

send a bunch of emails starting at 5:05 PM to document their participation in the project.
Then they have the gall to end the email with "Please advise"

Also love being forwarded an email chain that is 30+ messages deep and I have to search for the relevant information.

Seems that you aren’t a team player and lack synergy with your co-workers. Let’s circle back to that issue after we discuss your work ethic. Moving forward we need everyone on the same page and you should try to think outside the box so you bring more to the table. We need a culture of communication and effort so it’s a win-win for everyone

I like when I get those, and one of my people pipes up immediately after, points out what was relevant, answers the question for me, and then professionally eviscerates the offending toolbag who has of course copied in their whole upper management as well.
My team is fricking awesome and I love them.
