Correct, last time I was near a cube farm the personal heaters would constantly trip the breakers. I think a microwave draws even more power than a heater.

The lunch room micro has no bearing on my catered lunch. Why is it affecting you?

Not more than the ones that leave a couple of seconds on it and walk away. The very definition of lazy.

That is why at work we have a no popcorn policy.

Used to work with a ding-dong who would hit the stop button on the microwave with 1 second left. Every damn time. And he usually brought fish for lunch.
We surmised that he spent his coming of age time with his single mom and never chose to fight for his lunch money.

A little bit different, but I absolutely despise the people who leave time on the microwave, it might only be 2 seconds, but it sits there and flashes.

LMAO
Everyone knows that person that doesn't even eat in the lunchroom, yet heats their nasty Salmon up in the microwave.

The people who don`t cover their food are the ones who need their asses whooped. Spaghetti and mexican dishes leave splatter matter all over.

There was a guy at a former job that would microwave his salad so that his cheese would be melted. Had the same iq of a rock.

You have to go to work in an office building?
That must suck.

I rarely eat lunch at work anymore. But I'm good with people using the microwave properly to heat their food up...sometimes it takes longer to heat certain things up. So five minutes is fine by me if that's how long it takes.
I do have a problem with people who leave their food sitting in there though. If you don't have time to wait or be there when your food is finished heating, then come back when you do. It's disrespectful to leave food in there when it's a shared appliance in an office. Also you can't be mad if someone removes your food and heats theirs up if you weren't there when it was done.

At my old workplace there was a lady that ate a lean cuisine or hungry man microwave dinner every day. I had to beat her to it because she cooked it for damn near 10 minutes with our weak microwave.
And she insisted to keep it in the freezer everyday even though she'd bring a new one in each morning.

leftover fish only takes 2 minutes each.
I know this is a bit harsh, but really anyone who cooks leftover fish in a common area microwave needs to be stoned to death.
