I caved and got one for her... it is convenient. Did it during the hunting season because she was complaining that I was able to hunt and she couldn't go to the gym... so fixed that problem. Now I can leave her arse home with the Pelaton and the kid while I go hunt
I also worked in a few new bedroom outfits into that deal... so I got that going for me

For the record, nurse, if you enjoy your Peloton and it motivates you to exercise, I'm not knocking it. More power to you for at least exercising, unlike most of the population.

I want one of these badly. But I can't justify it right now since I have free exercise bikes at my office.

I get up at 3:30 am a few days a week to get on the bike before I get ready for work. Having the bike there has def made me more motivated to work out.
When I was restricted from riding it due to fertility stuff/surgery....I was really bummed. You earn badges for certain rides and for certain milestones and I wanted to earn more badges
The instructors give shoutouts to people during live rides for certain milestones and bdays(ex your 100th ride or 500th ride etc). It can be fun to compete against others on the leaderboard on the live rides.

i'm with LSUfanNKaty. As husbands sometimes you have to purposely lose battles, to win the war. And if my wifey threw a big stink about getting a new piece of exercise equipment for her to keep herself in shape and hot. That's something I'm willing to cave on.
I'm not saying I wouldn't put up a fight and make the same arguments made in here about how overpriced they are, but that would be to ensure that she uses it often to spite me or prove me wrong. which again, as LSUfanNkaty points out, benefits us as husbands in the long run.

Yes...all of them. They have the Peloton tread now so there are a lot of running workouts loaded on there as well. Also other cardio ones. Weights. Stretching. Yoga. And varies in length. You only have 10 minutes? You can easily find a class to take.
ETA: you can do a free trial of their app and see what kind of content they have. The paid app gets all the same content as the bike.

I may be alone in this, but I actually like to ride my bike. Outside. Where it should be done. Away from people and screens, not plugged into them.

My husband still loves to ride his mountain bike outside as well. And he does every weekend, weather permitting. But he uses the Peloton to train and exercise during the work week.
I’m sure many runners love to run outside....but still run on a treadmill at home or at a gym to train or exercise.
