Meaning I think they've already peaked, and are just now starting to open physical locations. Just seems like the beginning of the end of these things.

But hey, that's just my uninformed guess. Maybe I'm wrong.

Saw this yesterday. Love how most of the bikes aren’t even plugged in.

Still love my Peloton bike though. Ours is just in a spare bedroom though.

Pelotons are a status symbol for rich people that don’t leave the house enough

then you have to pay a monthly membership that's the same cost as a membership to a cycling studio.

What cycling studio do you belong to where membership is only $40 a month?

And easy access? Nothing beats walking a few feet to our spare bedroom and taking any type of spin class I want at any time of day I want. No driving there. Don’t have to plan my schedule around when the classes are. It’s there on my schedule...and I have access to some of the best spin instructors in the country leading classes instead of a stay at home mom who decided she’s a spin instructor now.

I don't belong to one. Honestly, I thought the membership was a lot more than $40, so perhaps I was wrong about that. I swear I thought I had heard it was somewhere in the $125/mo range.

My wife's is like $65 a month and about a half a mile away.

Edit: but she wants one of these damn things.

Sounds like you're getting a cut from posting this. They giving you a pretty decent chunk of change?

It did read that way, didn't it? For a second there I thought "wait is Peloton a pyramid scheme? Because it sounds like nurse just bought in and is at the entry level."

Membership is $40 a month.

You get unlimited access to thousands of rides on demand or can join any of the live rides. You also get access to all the off the bike content they offer (yoga, running, stretching, weight lifting). Think like beachbody programs.

Also...that is per bike. You can have several riders on one bike. Still $40 a month. My husband and I both use the bike all the time. He uses it to train for mountain biking. You also get access to all the digital content on their app so great if you are traveling (still have access to all the rides, etc I mentioned),

If you don’t have a Peloton bike you can still get all the digital content on their app for $20 a month. That’s what I did before I got the bike. Went to empty spin studio at my gym and did rides from the app.

I just really like the bike. Peloton does have kind of a cultish following. Look at their FB groups. People really love this bike and the community around it.

And no I don’t get anything to gush about it. I wish...would love some of the leggings they sell
