It is fun to try to figure out the reasons for why people get pissed off at things like this.
We got the "it's dumb because its expensive!" people.
We got the "you are supposed to ride outside!" people.
If $2000 is a lot of money to you; don't buy it. If you don't care about weather conditions or dodging people on trails; don't buy it.
It is a very high quality bike with a great experience for those that want that experience and the ability to jump on whenever you want without hassle.

That's what actual smart trainers, like the wahoo kicker, is for. They're $1,200 and you're not forced into an ecosystem.
Peloton's are the Yeti for the yuppy crowd.

Every kid in the 90's had that one friend who's parents bought a Nordic Track and used it for a couple of months and then let it sit in the corner to collect dust. The Peloton is the new Nordic Track.

I'm not gripping about them at all, just stating a point. They serve a purpose.
Also, these things are not expensive if you're a cyclist and you use them for their purpose. They can be a great tool, I just think there are better options out there.

Something like this is never truly 0% until payoff. It may be 0% for 12 months or 24 months based on a 36 month schedule. But they get you by throwing 100% of that interest on whenever the 0% ends. So month 25, you get hit with $250 of interest on a $2000 bike you haven't used in 15 months.
