There was no gun, so I doubt the animals intent was murder. Still, they set out to physically beat a 77-year-old, and anyone with half a brain knows that can easily kill someone that age. Therefore, no excuses, no sympathies, When we know beyond any doubt who did it, the death penalty needs to be used a lot more often, and it needs to be carried out fast. Enough is enough.
