Over. We needed more space. Now we need less space. I suppose we'll move again once the kids are out of elementary school.

Not really all that much opportunity cost. I look at it as my low risk portfolio and I know exactly what my return in interest savings is.

And whatever opp cost there is, is worth to me to know that if I get a job offer tomorrow that I want to take or need to take, moving won’t be a major impediment. The piece of mind is worth it for the lower return on a small part of my investment strategy.

3x that. Why? Location, Location, Location.

I also pay no state income taxes and my kids get a private school education at a public school price.

Not everyone lives in a place where $200k is a nice house.

Under, but will probably have to move into something bigger once it's not just me, my wife, and my 1 year old.

Our mortgage is right at $2700 per month.
