My insurance and property tax is more than that.

My first house note was a shade under 900, including taxes and insurance. Man I miss those days.

Way over. That wouldn't get you a 400 ft studio in DC or Arlington.

Probably under. No mortgage, houses paid for.

Way under. $200,000 house but we put $75,000 down. No PMI and around 4% interest rate so mortgage, taxes and insurance and HOA fees bring us to around $900 a month.

Currently a renter but looking to buy in couple years. I may go over $1433. Couple reasons: 1. Prices in New Orleans. anything decent is 300kish. Luckily I have about 115k to put down. 2. Property taxes and insurance in New Orleans.
Those two factors may push me out to Jefferson Parish

I'd like to see this broken out by geographical area.

Electric bill is 80-140 a month.
Unfortunately that will be changing soon

Under, I pay $900 in rent. Can't wait to stop pouring money down the drain and buy a house.

Yea, let's go with that
If you can afford to pay extra on your mortgage must not be doing too bad
