not really famous, but every time I go to Cades Cove I go by the grave of the guy who fought in the revolutionary war. Pretty awesome to think that he fought to create the country we live in today.

Kenny Rogers has a pretty sweet after-life setup in ATL’s Oakland Cemetery.
Bobby Jones is there as well with his grave covered in golf balls.

For whatever reason, I visit cemetaries.
Some I can remember:
2 or 3 of the claimed gravesites of Bluesman Robert Johnson (who they claim sold his soul to the devil at the crossroads of 65 and 49), including the most likely one, located at Little Zion Church in Greenwood.
The King and Queen of the gypsies in Rosehill Cemetary in Meridian, MS.
Country Music Legend Jimmy Rodgers gravesite in Meridian, MS
Blues legend BB King in Indaniola, MS
Elvis, who is actually still alive and runs a gas station close to Arkabutla Lake in North Mississippi.
All 35 of the Medal of Honor recipients buried in the Punchbowl in Hawaii.
If it counts, the Arizona Memorial.
I have walked the National Cemetary (union) and Cedar Hill Cemetery (confederate) many times in Vicksburg.

Thomas Jefferson's grave in Charlottesville VA.
Not famous: the graveyard in Alabama at the now abandoned state capitol. Cahaba was a major port and some of the people buried there have their home city and counties on their tomb stones.

I too, while on a trip to Seattle visited Bruce Lee's grave. I also visited Alexander Hamilton's and Peggy and Angelica Schuyler's grave. I've also visited Ben Franklin's grave in Philly.
The weirdest in a good way was visiting Westminster Abbey and seeing all the graves of the kings, queens, generals, scientists, artists, etc. Even walking over some of the people I've read about was surreal.

They aren't as "famous" as the Founding Fathers but many of the original pilgrims are buried at Burial Hill in Plymouth, MA. I used to work with a guy that was a descendant of William Brewster. The list of Brewster's descendants is crazy.

When we were dating my wife's grandfather died and I traveled to Dallas with her for planning, etc.
The burial was going to be at Sparkman Hillcrest and they were making arrangements with close family in one of the offices, so I just strolled around the grounds for a couple of hours. Came upon Mickey Mantle's vault, which I probably should have assumed was in Dallas but it hadn't really occurred to me that it could be there. My dad's childhood hero and by extension my own in a way. Pretty cool.

when we first moved to the DFW area we would take day trips all over the place just to explore, one of the things my wife googled was famous/infamous graves and we went on that adventure, pretty interesting, Lee Harvey Oswald's grave is not too far from where we live and there are tons of famous/infamous people buried around here

Frederick Chopin and Jim Morrison are buried in the same cemetery in Paris. Those are the only ones I went to but other famous people are there.

.have you ever visited someone who is famous' grave?
There is a stone marker placed at each soldier's (and the civilians traveling with the 7th Cavalry) location where the bodies were found on the hill. Very moving.

Grandparents' graves are across the path from J.P. "The Big Bopper " Richardson's gravesite at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Beaumont, TX., and not too far from Babe Zaharias' grave.
Here is Lamont at the Big Boppers grave on his other channel "Fascinating Graveyards".

See if you can see your grandparents.

I've been to Graceland.
Also in the cemetery where my parents and many of my relatives are buried, is the final resting place of Stevie Ray Vaughan.
