I just saw a guy give $100 to every employee at this restaurant after a long and, I’m sure, alcohol involved lunch. Dude probably dropped 4K just on tips.

Was probably the biggest tip I have witnessed and I thought that was pretty good move.

Well you’re talking about it, so he got the attention that he wanted.

One of the baw's on here had a wife leave a gay waiter a $100 tip because he wasn't paying attention to her and the waiter was. He was triggered. I think it is hilarious. Maybe pay attention to your woman when you go out?!?!?

I don't usually see what other people tip. Largest I ever gave (proportionally) was $20 on a $25 tab at a restaurant that was closing and the waitress was losing her job.

I gave a waiter in New Orleans our U2 tickets. Because he was saying how bad he wanted to go and I literally got a call because my Dad was in the emergency room in Lafayette and I just couldn’t leave him all alone.

I cocktail waitressed at L’Auberge. Biggest tip I’ve seen is in the thousands. Some of those regulars really spoil the girls there. Or did.

Biggest I’ve ever given was $100 on a 100 or so tab. It was at a Mexican place, on an anniversary trip with my wife. We got shite hammered on tequila and the waitress was so nice. She legit cried when she saw the tip.

I don’t even want to know the biggest tip we’ve personally left. My husband is a more generous tipper than even me and I tip 30%-40%.

A random patron bought him a shot last weekend when she saw when we tipped the bartender. Little did she know the bartender is a beloved friend. Oh well.
