I had a 2012 SRX and drove back and forth to Houston for three years. 130,000 Miles with no issues. Great car and still got 18k for it over a year ago, so good resale. I loved it.

Cadillacs are legit garbage
ugly interiors and boxy exteriors.
expensive as hell for maintenance.
overpriced crap.
Tesla is the only American car worth a shite....

Escalades are really nice. Not a great value but they are sweet rides.

I find that most, not all that drive them are assholes that think they own the road. Had one off them just today.
Yes, they look like shite.

I think Cadillacs are pretty nice looking and good quality. More stylish than most BMWs and Mercedes I see, which all kind of look the same.

GM premium product. Used to have the worse resale value of any brand, kinda doubt they still do, but could be bad. That 600hp Caddy is the only V8 you can get.

Neighbor has a mid 2000s Escalade and recently bought. Anew coupe. Fine looking car.
I have never owned one.

Are you over 70, own an RV or live in Boca?

Built by GM corp, which stand for Gotta Mechanic Coming

Not nearly as cool as a mid-60's suicide door Lincoln Continental.

I wish they still made a big body. Like a modernized version of the old land yachts.

Is it better quality than the typical GM product?
Slightly maybe, but still a GM product.

Back in 08 when I was buying, I had the Acura TL, BMW 3, Cadillac CTS, and Lexus in my realistic price.
Picked Acura and was very happy.
The issue I had with the CTS was the marketing or pricing. The “base” model was never at a dealer to see. They had about 6-7 different tiers of pricing and features. They went from $36k to pushing $50k. Just pissed me off.
Acura essentially, “want navigation or not?” Those were the two packages. Aside from the “TL-S” which I never considered.
Also a car need buddy of mine said “CTS? That’s a bitches car man. Only see MILFs driving those.”

Doubt I’ll ever even consider one, just not my demographic.
They might be OK to live with, I’ll probably never know.

I see one and think "there goes the neighborhood" to be honest. I never see then without giant rims and such.

I was never a fan, but know someone with one and the interior is a freaking space shuttle. Plush af
Hers isn’t one the typical demographic can afford.

I like the cars more than the Escalade.
I love the XTS but they are discontinuing it, I think.
