Not a parent, but I have to imagine if a grown man allowed kids to throw piss filled balloons at my daughter I'd want to rearrange his face

My daughter was scheduled to go back for the next week, this week, but obviously I didn't allow that. Now she's sick. The director said I would receive a refund on Monday for this weeks tuition. I have not received anything. I paid with an AMEX.
I'd be asking for a full refund for both weeks.

I'm not calling bullshite, but just from a schematics standpoint, how do you get urine and mop bucket water into a water balloon?

The urine balloon is not hard since there's a built-in nozzle, the mop bucket balloon probably made a mess.

They are now claiming the mop bucket contained rain water. I find that hard to believe. I asked my daughter how she knew the balloon had mop bucket water in it, and she said that it smelled really bad and just assumed that's what was in the balloon. Again, the mop bucket was in a bath house. I can only imagine what cleaning chemicals were in the water.

I don't have any idea how this would be accomplished, but he director has openly admitted that it did happen.

Ah, so just assumptions on the mop bucket water now. I'm not doubting your kid, but knew there was probably a little left out of this story too.

How exactly does one get the required pressure to actually make a piss ballon or mop bucket ballon..

I would be pissed off too but I have to ask:
1. How do you relate your daughters cold symptoms, that everyone has right mow, to mop water? AFAIK mop water has no special viral or bacterial qualities. Water, soap, dirt. Gross yes but not deadly.
2. Does anyone really think there are going to be criminal charges here? Come on. I know there is some statute about bodily fluids but I think it has to do with exposing people to the AIDS virus. What would you charge this guy with?
3. And what are you going to sue the camp for? Everyone is wanting to sue these days. For what?

Highly likely he was a teenager. Being fired is enough.
Sounds like a dumb young man getting carried away with the boys and forgetting he’s supposed to be the adult in the situation. Tough to treat a dumb mistake as a life or death situation.

The counselor that approved the balloons with urine and mop water is an adult.
Adult is a wide range. 18 year old just out of high school? Still pretty immature. 35 year old? Should know better.

The girls knew that some balloons had urine. They assumed the others had mop bucket water based on the smell, but the fact remains, it was just water from a faucet or hose. These are 11-12 y/o girls, not detectives. The director did not notify any parent of anything that happened. The parents did not find out until their children told them on the day they went home.

A lawsuit is entirely too far but I don't think its unreasonable to request a refund for that week and the week in which she missed being sick.

The irony of reading this on an LSU dominant site
1. You should get a refund for the week you were there as well. If they refuse, go legal on their arse.
2. If the counselor was over 18, criminal charges should be sought. If it was a standard camp, he should of been over 18. That is the norm for Texas camps.
3. The parents of the boys should be notified of what their children were allowed to do. The parents need to have a conversation with their boys on right and wrong, even though it was not their fault.
This is an amazing story that can only be found at TD.com, this place is so freaking trashy

I hear you there. But, I think an 18 y.o. deserves at least probation etc (cost time and money) as punishment. Merely losing job isn't enough in my opinion.
