First thought is the girl is probably sick from just the exposure to so many other children
Though it sounds dangerous and the kids must have not made much of a fuss about it
Sure one or more of them could have started complaining about eye irritation and vision and then some shite could have started

Fired the kid, and letting you cancel with refund next week? Probably fine with that. And yea, you might not see the credit instantly. Stuff like that takes time to process.
Sick? From mop a splash of mop water? More likely from exposure to so many kids all week. If it is from the water I’d expect payment of any bills but she either slurped down a lot or it wasn’t just mop water if a funky water balloon has her ill.
I might also slightly check the brakes in that the story coming home miiiiight sound worse than reality. I’d initially suspect that the counselour didn’t know that it got as extreme as urine and kids might be stretching a little there. If he’s out back peeing in balloons with them that’s a pretty crazy situation.
