They're supposed to be solid vehicles. A bunch of pin dicks who base their personality on their vehicle will tell you to get a real truck but if you like em get one. No way I would spend 50k on a full sized truck right now.

I just bought a 2021 ranger last week and am pretty happy with it so far.

That’s literally anyone who gives a damn what someone else drives and/or feels they need to drive a truck because it’s more MANLY.

I hate the idea of a front wheel drive pickup. It might not even compromise utility, I don’t know, but I dislike that more than I dislike the unibody construction.

I have one, it’s great. Who cares what anyone else thinks.

Great gas mileage, reliability, comfort, lots of gadgets and useful features, fits in my garage, and it can do all the things I need a truck to do as a suburbanite. I’ve had mine for two years and love it.

If it was built in the 1990's that would be true. Not so much now and that applies to Toyota too.

Don't own one. On the highway it behaves like a car, so better handling than a full size truck.

What I like the most is the way the rear seats fold up and allow cargo. You can put a bicycle in there. I also like the locking trunk in the bed, but that's simultaneously my least favorite feature as it is where the spare tire is kept. Imagine have a bed full of stuff and you get a flat. Welp, you're gonna have to unload the bed to get to the trunk to get to your spare. That would be a major PITA.

It's like a truck, except you can't do truck stuff with it.

Will win over the lady boys at Splash though

For a suburban office working dude who occasionally needs a truck to carry a new refrigerator home, or something, it’s a very good vehicle.

On paper it checks every single box that most people who drive trucks need.

It doesn't pass the looks test, and that is a big reason people don't buy it, not due to a lack of capabilites.

It’s basically a Honda Odyssey with half the seating.

Is the ridgeline a popular option in other countries?
