This is by FAR the worst race I've ever seen as far as commercials.
They've shown 30 minutes more commercials than they have uninterrupted racing.

I often wonder how different the sport would be if it hadn't lost Dale. He was one of the few with the clout and balls to call NASCAR out on their bullshite. I remember one time he told Bill France to his face the race package sucked and was dangerous.
Obviously when he passed he was nearing the end of hsi driving career but at that time the teams he owned were also up front nearly every week. How much would they have continued to listen to his input as an owner?
Tony and Shrub tried to pick up the mantle and speak out against the dumb shite they do, and Denny to an extent. And, NASCAR crucified them for it.

I actually did a lot of the original R & D for them back in 2004 and 2005. The units weren't bad but back then their weak point was the electrical components. I could get any of the manufacturers I worked with back then except TGB to understand just how bad these machines were going to be abused. Previous posters would be correct about the drive trains though. Stock units were fine, lifted with oversize tires and you have axle snappers.
The unit sold at Lowe's is a HiSun product.

More than likely from the Shanghai General Motors plant. We brought in some "mini-trucks" built by SGMW that were bullet proof. We stopped bringing them in though because people wouldn't keep them off the damn highway and they hadn't got through DOT crash testing.
The main company I worked for, TGB built a fine ATV. It's as goot as any out there. They sell the hell out of them in Europe and Australia. I tried to get them to get into side by sides way back in 2004. You could see the market shifting form atvs to utvs.
They never did but they do build the engine for the Mahindra 1000cc unit. I miss those days, it was fun to go to work back then.

Jeb handled that WAY better than I would have. Jesse also had a great argument to make. Dominated the whole damn race and then cannot let the outcome be decided among the competitors.

Whoever OK'd $250M to a sexual predator with bum achilles tendons should be flogged in the public square outside the stadium.

Interesting that no one commented on the end of the X race yesterday. Once again. NASCAR stepped on their own dick and screwed the fans out of a great finish.
The spun car was well out of the racing surface and the cars had passed him by. Let them race to the damn finish line!!!!!!!!!!!

In my opinion, there's much more to it mainly having to do with aerodynamics. The cars today are too "smooth." They don't punch a big enough hole in the air for the cars behind them to be able to move around very much without losing the draft.
I'll also say that good racing can be accomplished without having to increase HP.
I've been saying for 15 years, raise the front air dam, lower the rear spoiler and soften the tires and the on the track product instantly improves.

No link but PSA had the Daggar lowers for $39.95 earlier in the week.

Y'all learn Bamarep about this round of ammo.
I've toyed with the idea of buying a 350 upper for one of my rigs or just buying something like the rig described. Where I hunt I'd never have over a 200yd shot.

I have a 92 Eddie Bauer I'm restoring (or will when I have time).
Only gave the lady $225 for it. She thought the motor was locked up, I crawled under to try to bar over the engine and saw wires dangling from the starter. I immediately crawled out and asked her what she wanted for it.
She told me the scrap yard was going to give her $200 for it. I told her I'd go $225 and pick it up the next day. Got that dude home, threw a battery in it and hooked up the solenoid wires and she popped right off.
At some point they swapped it over to an automatic from a manual so their son could drive it. I'm going to put it back to a 5 speed manual when I go through everything..
It's a fun toy to play with.

That's my wife's favorite flowering plant. We have two and I'll plant several more.
On another note, has anyone ever tried their hand at the Burgess Vine tomatoes? They supposedly grow to over 20ft. I'm going to try running some along a cattle panel and see how they do. I have 6 or 8 from seed that are doing very well and about time for transplant.

I also have this on one my old Echo trimmers. That old bird is over 20 years old and still cranks by the 3rd pull.
Like other have recommended, make sure your string is:
1) not wound on too tight
2) wound in the right direction
3) Spool isn't upside down
4) throw the bitch in the bushes and buy another head

I'm going to go with the Dixie Chopper Classic. 60 inch deck with a 35hp Kawi. They do not make the Silver Eagle anymore. I go yesterday to pick it up and someone else had bought the one he had. He found me another one at another dealer and will have it at the store one day next week.
In the mean time he let me bring their Gravely demo unit home to not let my grass get out of hand. I have to say that is a very nice unit. Very smooth hydraulics and the ride with these fancy seats on the new mowers is incredible. I could be very happy with a Gravely unit. It's not as fast as my Chop was but nothing else is either.
Also a nice shout out to State Farm. No hassle at all with my claim. Cannot recommend them as an insurer enough.

Tomatoes in the ground and mulched. I'll cage them and get the drip tape on them in a week or so.
Squash/Zuke in the ground last night. We'll see which ones survive the transplant then mulch and put down irrigation.
My cuke seedlings died on me, and the second batch looks like shite. May have to direct sow those. I'm struggling with seedlings this year for whatever reason.
I have 7 rows of peas/beans, two of them didn't come up at all and three of the others have bare spots. I'll replant the bare spots and the two dead rows. I also have to get my pole beans out. I plan to let those run on metal cattle panels. Beans just get too heavy for my nylon trellis netting I use on my cukes.
Trying to let my peppers get a little more hardened before I put those out. I have some neat varieties I want to try this year for making pepper sauce/hot sauce.
These late cool snaps are giving us fits this year. I'll try to post some pics later for tips and suggestions. Some of you boys have some nice set ups.

This.
I bought one that looked like hell but everything worked about 10 years ago. I built a new cabinet around it, painted it and let her rip. That thing worked like a champ until lightning got it about 3 years ago.
I'm threatening to buy another one. Sitting in a hot tub on a rainy day is the shite.

I have a 72" finishing mower but am just too lazy to change out attachments every time I need my tractor.
Thanks for all of the suggestions. If State Farm is buying I'm probably going to stick with a Dixie Chopper. I do like the big Gravely units too though.

I think the solenoid shorted and ignighted the grass that inevitably gathers in the engine compartment. By the time I could go grab an extinguisher and get back it had burned a hole in one of the hyd lines. It was on after that.
Thankfully I got it out before it melted through the fuel tank. 5 gal of rec gas doesn't ignite peacefully. Scared the shite out of me.
I also cut about 5 acres so I'm looking for something commercial grade.

Mine caught on fire yesterday and is now crispy.
It was a Dixie Chopper Silver Eagle 2760. They do not make that model anymore so I'm starting from scratch.
What are you baws riding?

Are we EVER going to be done with the cold weather?
I don't guess DOGE has made it to cutting off the weather machine yet.
