Several years ago, a Denver paper ran a pic of a guy who was a victim of wildfire. He was sitting on his steps in jorts, and people went insane writing letters to the editor about how his balls were hanging out.
But they weren’t. It really did appear that way, but other photos taken at the same time showed that it was just a shadow.
This Opening Ceremony “OMG I see balls!” is just history repeating itself. More photos and videos debunk the ball hysteria.
The lesson here is that many people really look for balls and see them at the slightest hint.
