We recently lobbied the city council to lower the posted speed limit from 25mph to 20mph. Enforcement began today. Should have seen the looks on some of the a-hole’s faces I stopped to issue warnings this afternoon.

Yeah thanks for doing that a-hole. Only people in the front of the hood seem to have a problem with speeding.

I will run your candy arse over at 25mph if you ever try and stop me.

Try doing 22 or 23mph through this neighborhood and it won’t matter. You’ll be forfeiting hundreds of dollars in traffic citations. Maybe even closer to a thousand if I pull you over. I’ll light you up for everything last thing I can think of.

Unless you're a LEO, you're begging for an arse kicking.

We made a deliberate decision when we started our citizens safety group 7 years ago to not be associated with the HOA. We wanted no part of enforcing paint color violations or people leaving their garbage cans out an hour past the cutoff. We all agreed there were far bigger and more dangerous fish to fry... And the need was there in a large masterplanned community.

I agree. Does he not think that by posting this in a public forum that he may encounter someone who is LEO or who knows law. I would love to civilly debate this guy to prove he is either a troll or going to get himself hurt by someone if he really is out there doing this. He will come across someone who eventually will try to hurt him just as law enforcement officers come across the same individuals.

Sounds like a lot of people in here had terrible experiences with HOAs

I live in one that's pretty chill. I guess it all depends on what the rules are and how they're enforced. I can definitely appreciate the benefit in situations where you might have a dipshit neighbor whose yard is so egregiously bad it's hurting other's property value. Of course most people will disagree about where to draw the line.

My uncle lived in one stickler HOA neighborhood once that was trying to stop him from building a big deck with an overhang in his backyard because of some rule that anything visible over the fence has to meet their approval. Thankfully I've never lived under a nazi regime quite like that

We’ve been debriefed about this as of 3/1/18. Enforcement goes into effect 4/1/18. Anyone operating an unlicensed lemonade stand is subject to a $1,000 fine, court cost, and up 180 days in jail.

I’m gonna be honest here. Sort of conflicted about how to deal with this issue.

I rescind my previous criticism.

Thats a wonderful troll job.

We have been working hand in glove with the sheriff’s department for nearly two years now. We have been trained to patrol, make arrests, issue citations, give field sobriety tests and establish checkpoints within a perimeter dictated by the sergeant at arms and in conjunction with LEO’s on duty.

The work isn’t glamorous. Lots of late nights, lots of bulletproof coffee, and lots of questioning yourself about if you’re making a difference or not. In the end, I stand by my work. If it helps keep just one child safe my shift was worth it. We don’t do it for the money, or the perks. We do it because we are called to do it. The day I’m relieved of my graveyard shift from 10-4am is the day I’m pushing up daisies.

So your commissioned by the sheriff's office? You have an actual card that has your picture and says your a commissioned deputy? Because if your patrolling a PUBLIC road that's not private property your impersonating a police officer. You have to be trolling on this thread because no way in hell this is true. No way. I don't believe it for one instance. Lol I doubt anyone here will believe you until you provide some sort of proof. Until then your a short dicked troll trying to have a power trip. I'd love one of your armed neighbors try to pull me over and then seize anything from me. Or even write a bull shite citation. I would "lol" literally..

You're, you fricking idiot.

Does "resisting arrest" include running your bitch arse down when you try to get in my way and making sure my trucknuts teabag you right across the forehead?

Asking for a friend.

EDIT: Oh, my friend says he's definitely going to be rolling coal all over you, too, pussy.
EDIT TO THE EDIT: He says he's going to blow his airhorn that plays "Dixie" while he does it, too, so you'd better get ready to pretend to give him a noise violation.
EDIT TO THE EDITED EDIT: Also, you say a few pages back that we'd better believe it's all about money, then a few posts up say it's not about the money. Which is it? Oh, my friend says his stereo's going to be pumping out some Skynyrd when he drives down your street and wants to know which song in their catalog you hate the most.

Are you a real cop? Or just the Bobby Brady hall monitor for your HOA?

If I become president of the HOA, can I abolish the HOA?
