A shredded tarp over a rusty piece of crap with flat tires. Same neighbor did a similar thing with an old car in the middle of his yard last year. This isn't OK if someone living next door has a house up for sale. Things like that turn people off of the neighborhood and that costs $.

Stories like this and I can't help but feel like the only people who really like HOAs are uppity.

If people who think it's acceptable to start a junkyard for broken down cars thereby decreasing the value of one of the biggest investments of my life make me come off as uppity, then Im uppity.
My starter house was an older middle class neighborhood. When I was younger an aunt lived there and it was nice. Not super fancy, but okay enough. By the time we left, the neighbor across the street had 2 broken down cars. down the street had a ceiling fan hanging from a tree in the front yard. I'll never live in a place like that unless it's country with property.

And BS on pricing yourself out of it. House across from my parents sold for over 500k. Camper, jet skis, etc all parked in the grass lot on the side. shite left out all the time. These were the yellow Hummer H2 types. I don't think my parents can live there forever die to lack of HOA enforcement. It will be a shite hole in 15 years. No doubt in my mind.

Yea, that's trashy.

You know what I'd do if I went to look at a house I was going to buy and saw a car next door with a tarp over it? I'd save my time and move on to the next house.

Like I said, if that's uppity, I'm good with that.

Exceed 20mph through any of our residential streets and find out. You’ll be standing tall before the man looking at hundreds of dollars in fines and civil restitution.

OK Bobby Brady. Give me the names of one of the streets and if it’s anywhere near my way home from work you can guarantee I will.

You still did not answer the question. Are you a real cop? Or just a hall monitor for your Crappy HOA?

You sound like a tough guy. It's easy talk big about what you are going to Do. You know who isn't talking big now? The 13 year old girl who blew her hands off popping illegal fireworks in 2014 while her parents drank alcohol in the driveway with the neighbors all accomplices.

Bring her to Sonic with you. I'll open up a can of pop knots on both of your heads.

I work with a contingency of former Marines and spec ops from the other three branches who have sworn an oath to the board, the city council, parish president, and sheriff to uphold and defend the covenants by which we all agreed to when we purchased our homes. We have arrest authority, we have confiscated large amounts of cash, and we have impounded several Mustang 5.0’s, and Camaro, and four Nissan Altimas that were using the spare doughnut.

What kind of car do you drive?

Not particularly responding you Client, but it's great to see BrGetTheNet or however you spell it still manages to troll people with his neighborhood watch schtick.

our HOA doesn't have the balls to enforce anything. so nobody pays attention to them. somebody painted the bricks on their house white, which is a no no, the guy basically said "oh well"

It was hard to find a non-gated community here. Two great streets, no trash, quiet, established. Perfect balance - I don't pay $300/month (typical here) and people actually respect their neighborhood.

I should be surprised that people have been falling for this troll for seven pages but I'm not.
