I agree has to be personal to shoot someone that many times. They wanted to make sure the job was done.

Okay stats from 10 years ago
Suicide rates are probably highest in local jails because many inmates were recently arrested and are at the peak of their anxiety, and they may not have received psychological counseling. In 2010, 42 jail inmates per 100,000 killed themselves—far more than the nationwide suicide rate of 12.4 per 100,000. Once an inmate is convicted and transferred from a local jail to long-term holding in a state prison, though, the suicide rate drops to 16 per 100,000. Prisoners are more likely to commit suicide than free people nationwide, but the difference is less than one might expect. County-by-county data suggest that much of the western United States, for example, has suicide rates that equal or surpass that of the average state prison.

So let’s say he takes a few hours to sleep it off after....how far could he have realistically gotten between when the body was found and they came for him?

Prisoners have a hierarchy and someone who killed a girl and an unborn child would be pretty low down on the totem pole.
His biggest issue is he is young, not prison hard and will have money in his commissary account. Most people don't understand how small the food potions are in the average prison and without the commissary a male inmate will usually be hungry much of the day. There are a lot of inmates that never have a penny in their accounts so people with food become targets. Then you have the shot callers who have a responsibility to keep their minions fed who don't have money. There is at least as much violence associated with food as drugs in most prisons.

Could’ve gone to the nearest airport and hopped a flight to Mexico City

Yeah. Watching videos and documentaries of this place, it seems horrific. That dude's gonna get shook down, exploited, and everything in between.

frick prison man. It's one of my biggest fears in life.
It's so terrifying that even when I watch a video of someone who did something horrible getting taken into custody when I know that they just had their last ounce of freedom, it is nauseating.

Well we know junior doesn't have the best critical thinking skills

He apparently killed her soon after midnight on Friday night/ Saturday morning. If he dumped her at 3 am, and was arrested at 4 pm on Monday, that is 61 hours. If he slept 8 and ran, that gave him 53 hours.
With eating, buying gas, peeing, and one more 8 hour sleep period, he probably could have easily driven to Phoenix, then back to Oxford.

If there's anything we know about junior, it's his ability to make good decisions

I may have missed this in the 36 pages, but how did they find her body so fast? It doesn’t appear she was reported missing or anything. Did the police just happen upon it?

If he is lucky, he will spend the next 50 years on death row in a cell by himself while he exhausts his appeals before getting the needle at age 70.

Young Brandon graduating from cold chicken tenders to hot cock sandwiches, you hate to see it. This kid is so incredibly fricked.

They may have had surveillance on him shortly after finding the body but yeah he still would have had plenty of time to make moves.

A deputy was riding by on routine patrol and saw her.

Didn't someone say his dad runs a pill mill?
He'll get protection pretty fast, and dad will pretty much be Jesse Pinkman chained at the neck in a warehouse for the rest of his days.
