I used to play out there every Sunday with my father in law. The day I was going to ask him if I could marry his daughter I hit a horrible 3 wood on 10 going for the green and it ricocheted off a pine and caught him right in the chest. I postponed the question until the next week.

Went flying fishing down the Gulkana back in late June. The mosquitos were the worse I’ve ever experienced. Long sleeves and head net was a must. Trying to tie a fly on the line and my hand would turn black from mosquitos landing on it.

With that said Alaska was incredible. Floated and camped for 3 days and never saw another person outside of our crew.
