(My guess based on Google Maps is they found the stand in the wooded area behind the Army Reserve building. Appears much of the rest of the area facing the airport would be obstructed by buildings. Happens the overhead view showed TF1).

The device underneath the FOX 13 News vehicle was originally located on Friday and determined to be real. According to officials, the device had been lit but "failed to function."

Because of the type of device discovered and where it was located, it was considered a significant threat to public safety, leading the FBI to assume jurisdiction over the case.

During the FBI investigation, the suspects were tracked to a Magna home in the 2700 South block of 8500 West.

We have 2 estimates to replace two 4-ton units. Our older unit (>20yrs.) is a Carrier in need of a new evaporator coil. (We’ve been quoted $6500 to replace the coil.) The other unit is a Trane (2008) and is working ok.

One option is to replace the whole system - both units and the furnace - with a new 7.5 ton Carrier: $24000

The second is to replace both units with a 7.5 Goodman for $16000 (keep the furnace).

A third we’re thinking of is to replace just the Carrier older unit.

I’d appreciate any thoughts on this, including Goodman vs Carrier. Our HVAC guy who quoted Goodman says the components for about all brands are the same, just marketed and packaged differently/thus more expensive ). Thank you!
