Four-in-hand or Pratt depending on the collar, but I’m tall like a real man.

Last time I wore a tie.

Senior engineer at Hydro Quebec, slid a pair of scissors down the conference room table and said “You championed this. Now remove the tie or we hold you down and cut it off.” Hydro Quebec was the last of the power Engineering holdouts.

Since then….the ties hang useless in the closet….that includes funerals and weddings.

Anyway, the real boss tie knot is the reef. If you know, you know....

I’ve never once learned or thought about the name of tie knots. I just tie it and move on because I’m certain that no one cares since ties are useless and perfunctory to begin with.

I wear single knot because it’s the only way the tie is long enough. Tall ties are always trash patterns.

Hopefully you shorties don’t judge me too much, I would chose half-windsor knot if it could fit.

The Duke of Windsor tied his ties using the 4 in hand knot, but his ties were made using bulkier material. The Windsor knot was developed to get the dukes appearance with a less bulkier tie.
The problem is that if you are over a certain height the tail of the full Windsor knot becomes increasingly non existent

I prefer the Half Nelson.
