You think 20 or 30 million people in Italy have it?

In two weeks you will know.

So the state of Ohio carries over half of the current stated cases in the world?

I doubt that Ohio has 100k cases, but you also surely realize the number of cases is much higher than what has been confirmed due to the lack of testing.

How do they make such an estimation with such little testing?

That's 40x what Italy has per capita and that country is on lockdown.

Yes. Between 1/3 and 1/2 of total population.

Only the most serious cases are being tested especially in Italy where the health system is overwhelmed. You can get near a Dr or hospital in Italy if you can walk and breathe.

When this is all said and done we are going to find the infection rate to be the real killer with this pandemic.

Bc Italy never did proper testing. It’s one of the reasons they’re where they are and Germany and South Korea are where they are.

Italy got bumrushed by this thing and never got around to testing mild cases or asymptomatic cases. They’re all hands on deck dealing with the severe and critical cases right now.

Based on data from the countries who actually got out in front of this thing, Japan, South Korea, Germany, the number of people infected is significantly, significantly higher than the number who will show symptoms severe enough to get tested.

Unless you institute the 15 minute drive through testing they did. Which we won’t do bc we wanted it to go through our normal healthcare set up which surprise is being fricked up by insurance complications

Yes, this will make a case for public healthcare. Right now they would have to offer vouchers or something to private healthcare clinics. Forcing insurers to cover it isn't going to be enough because not everyone has insurance.
