Country music fans have not welcomed this racist woman into Nashville. It's not because she is a racist piece of shite, but because she is Black

Having said that, Country Music fans welcomed Darius Rucker with open arms because he is a patriot and not racist like Beyonce is. Last time I checked, Darius is black and he had no problem crossing over to the genre because of his skin color

quote:

Ahead of her highly anticipated country album, pop star Beyoncé Knowles-Carter hinted she "did not feel welcomed" in the genre years ago.

In an Instagram post on Monday counting down ten days until the release of "Act II: Cowboy Carter," Beyoncé released a preview image along with a lengthy background on the album.

"This album has been over five years in the making. It was born out of an experience that I had years ago where I did not feel welcomed…and it was very clear that I wasn’t. But, because of that experience, I did a deeper dive into the history of Country music and studied our rich musical archive. It feels good to see how music can unite so many people around the world, while also amplifying the voices of some of the people who have dedicated so much of their lives educating on our musical history," she wrote.

The post continued, "The criticisms I faced when I first entered this genre forced me to propel past the limitations that were put on me. act ii is a result of challenging myself, and taking my time to bend and blend genres together to create this body of work."

Despite once feeling unwelcome, Beyoncé said she felt "honored" to be the first Black woman to have a number one single on the Hot Country Songs chart.

"My hope is that years from now, the mention of an artist’s race, as it relates to releasing genres of music, will be irrelevant," she wrote.

Fox News Digital reached out to Beyoncé’s publicist for a comment.

Though one of Beyoncé’s first singles off the album "Texas Hold Em" quickly hit number one on the country charts, various media outlets questioned whether she could overcome "the exclusion of Black musicians from the genre" to succeed in country music.

She needs to stop culturally appropriating blonde hair from white folk.

Also, Jimmy Allen would like a word.

Maybe she should focus on not letting AI write a terrible "country" song for her and actually do good music.

Nobody gives a shite about your skin color if you make quality country music.

Hootie and the Blowfish/Darius music is not a big jump from rock to country.

Urban R&B to country is a much bigger leap for Beyonce. Plus the music has to not suck.

it's so funny these websites can take a quote out of context and piss you guys off so easily

quote:

quote:

It feels good to see how music can unite so many people around the world, while also amplifying the voices of some of the people who have dedicated so much of their lives educating on our musical history," she wrote.

isn't this what you guys want also?

btw, her song sucks. that's why I dont like it. nothing to do with her being black. I also don't care if she wants to continue making country music. I don't listen to XM much, and my spotify only plays what I like

I’m guessing just disliking someone based on personality isn’t a thing? Gotta be unwelcome because of racists

Forget all the race stuff. That song Texas Hold 'em might be the worst song ever written or performed.

Plus Darius Rucker actually had a good voice and good songs, not like the garbage she wants to pass off as country.
