Just so you are aware, every state allows minors to consent for STI treatment.
Also, the majority of states (32, I believe) don’t even allow the physician to share the info without the consent of the minor and 18 only allow the sharing of info if it is “in the best interest of the minor”, but there is no obligation.

This bill was introduced in 2015 when Ebola was the worry and has never had a cosponsor so has languished in committee. The one Assemblyman who originally introduced the bill keeps re-filing it every year. It is not being "voted on".

Good. I hope other states follow. The only way to get past the pandemic is to round up and isolate the unclean from those who are vaxxed and healthy.
