Eventually they will lock up the parents of unvaxxed kids and make their children wards of the state.

Wouldn’t be shocked if they already do

This was introduced in January and buried in committee. No use in pointing that out, right?

Actually, it was introduced in 2015 in response to Ebola. Same assemblyman keeps reintroducing it but it has never gotten a cosponsor....no other democrat has signed on to this bill . But facts would get in the way of right wing outrage.

Is this going to include repeat offenders who make the courts look like a merry-go-round?

How about those convicted of murder, rape, molestation, armed robbery and other forms of thuggery?

And yet it's been sitting in committee with no action all of this year. Your gurantee is as worthless as your outrage.

Maybe your lame attempt at dismissing this wouldn't fall on deaf ears if this wasn't already happening in other places and the democrats weren't acting like nazi totalitarians all of the time.

Paper's please!

I can see why people would be wary of a bill like this these days. I don't blame them at all.

This is happening literally all over the world. Countries recognize that they need to take more drastic measures to protect their citizens. Sweden, which was all for the "herd immunity" approach in early 2020 is requiring proof of vaccination to enter the country as of this coming week. They're trying to keep their citizens safe and this is a way to curb the import of new variants.

Also, we have already been requesting proof of vaccination/immunity for decades in this country. This is no different. shite, in order to receive certain medical treatments, you're required to be vaccinated against the measles, mumps, etc, etc. Why is this any different?

nice clickbait. It probably has nothing to do with his behavior - strictly arrested for the lack of vaccine pass.

Hope you are trolling because no one in their right mind should be defending an American needing a vaccine pass to enter a building

You are against a private business setting their own requirements?

Didn't take you for that type.

I am saying, he probably acted like an arse when asked about a mask or vaccine pass and was arrested due to his overall behavior, not his lack of mask or vax pass.

additionally, if you really want to get nitty-gritty with it, I don't find that asking for a mask or proof of vaccination is any different than asking people to wear a shirt or shoes in a dining establishment, or asking people to refrain from wearing certain things while in church. a business or corporation is free to establish whatever rules they want. If you don't like those rules, then you're free to go somewhere else.

My husband doesn't like to wear a suit or jacket so we don't go to Commander's Palace. It's the same concept.

Yeah that is very vague. I mean you can easily apply that to many things.

They didn't set the requirement.

quote:

People 5 and older are required to show proof they have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine for:

Indoor dining

Includes restaurants, catering halls, hotel banquet rooms, bars, nightclubs, cafeterias, coffee shops, fast food restaurants, grocery stores with indoor dining and other indoor dining spaces

And it changes to two doses on 12-27

quote:

In December, COVID-19 vaccination proof requirements are expanding to include younger children and to require full vaccination:

Children: Children ages 5 to 11 are now required to have proof of vaccination for the public indoor activities described further below. They must show they have received at least one dose of a vaccine.

Full Vaccination: Starting December 27, people 12 and older participating in public indoor activities will be required to show proof they have received two vaccine doses, except for those who have received the one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Starting January 28, 2022, children ages 5 to 11 must also show proof of full vaccination.
