As has been mentioned, Pio hasn't posted since early January. Someone implied that he's dead. Thanksgiving is 3 hours away and he hasn't chimed in. Someone needed to do something.

He likes to point out to me that while I only qualified as a sharpshooter, he qualified perfect 40/40 expert, only one of two in his platoon at Benning to do so. I counter this with the fact I did it using iron sights while he has the fancy laser optics they use now.

My sister said last week that she was coming for a few days. My wife cleaned the house up, shopped etc. My sister forgot to tell us until today that she changed her plans and isn't going to make it. She does this every time but I lay low because this is the cleanest the house has been since last time she didn't show up.

This year it’s just me and the wife. Taking the Holliday off with relatives and no kids. We are grilling some steaks and taking the dog for a long walk tomorrow. Just mainly relaxing and watching football. Christmas we will be going to the Boston area to see my parents. Last year we hosted 20 for thanksgiving and 25 for Christmas and the wife said she wanted a Holliday off and just us. No drama and just relaxing sounds so nice for once.

I do kinda miss growing up we'd do both sides, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, pretty large gathering.
Now it’s much smaller, but easier I guess.
