Seriously though, does anybody have any idea what they are even referring to? His two most famous characters are a fuzzy green dude, and an anthropomorphic cat. Two "white" characters were literally called Thing 1 and Thing 2.

It’s ok to take some lessons and leave others behind. Our children should likely be seeing a lot of different books compared to generations before. Get ready, in 10 years you’ll really hate the music they listen to, and in 50 you’ll want them off whatever the equivalent of today’s lawn will be. Have a drink, take the edge off a bit and realize things are pretty good and change won’t always be perfect but it’ll happen and be ok.
