I went to a handful of games in 2022 and 2023 and just didn't see it. 2024 UCLA is when I said "woah"

Sorry but I haven’t seen jack shite from Landry in the form of warrant sweeps and NG around BTR after the literal terrorist attack at the mall.
Call me skeptical, but yeah he should show force if he was smart.

Great now the flagship public uni is toast. Just another thing taxpayers get to pay for and not use.
Get ready to send your kids private for 5x the cost at least

How in Tarnation did someone get a license for a Hookah Bar in that area? Who thought it was a good idea? What is gained from such crap?
The problem at the Southern game last year wasn’t the SU paying customers. Likely wasn’t even much to do with Southern as it was all the Bottoms kids coming out and doubling down on their usual. Because it was LSU and Southern. Had it been Eastern Washington or Dartmouth as the rent a win, we would have had a quiet night game atmosphere.
More and more and more families are looking at how safe Ruston looks these days.

General thought is the game with Southern University
There were Southern fans selling boxed bbq out of trailers all over campus like you’d see on any random Sunday in north Baton Rouge and LSU and the cops let them. If a white person tried that LSU would kick them off campus after their first sale. Weed was everywhere that day. Groups of random people not wearing LSU or Southern gear just walking around campus smoking it up with their pants around their knees. LSU truly looked like a ghetto. But all we heard was what a great day it was for Baton Rouedge.
There is no doubt in my mind that they are going to try a takeover for the Clemson game. That crowd knows they can force their way to do whayever they want but all it will take is messing with the wrong tailgate group at the wrong time and you’ll end up having some really bad stuff happen.

Does your white guilt ever take a moment off?

It’s not 80% but it’s the most it’s ever been. I’d bet 25%-30%, with white student being around 50%. The remaining 20-25% mixed between Asian and Hispanic.
Pretty close. For the fall of 2025 of the total number of undergraduates on campus whites were at 53.9% with blacks at 23.5%. 2026 Spring enrollment at a glance still has not been posted. In fall of 2019 white undergraduates were at 68.6% of all undergraduates on campus with blacks at 13.3%.
Last 2 incoming fall freshman classes had white enrollees at less than 50%. For fall of 2024 LSU’s Dashboard rounded whites to 50.0% in 2024, but it was actually 49.962% (blacks at 26.8%). For fall of 2025 whites made up 48.6% of the incoming freshman class (blacks at 28.4%). In fall of 2019 whites were 66.7% of the incoming freshmen class enrollees with blacks at 14.4%.
Since fall of 2021 white freshman enrollees have dropped in total number even as the freshman class sizes have been consistently increasing since Tate (from 4,401 in fall of 2021 to 3,995 in fall of 2025).
Since offers and focus done before new guys could change much this trend is likely to continue for this fall’s incoming freshman class.

I think you were going to be surprised with the police presence for the Clemson game. Game day will be here. It's Lane kiffin's first game. There's a lot on the line for this game and there's no way the brass is going to let culture eff this up
ETA: maybe I am being too optimistic. I thought Landry would have done more since his press conferences after the girl was murdered at the mall in April.

It must kill you that most people think Gov Landry has done a great job!

Something tells me this young gentleman isn’t getting ready for a great semester at LSU.

I went to the Bama game that year and didn’t notice anything, but I do a good bit of day drinking. I would go to maybe 5 games a year the first decade or so after I graduated. Now, I’m lucky to make 1, so I don’t notice as much of the trends.
All that said…are people going to start watching at home with this being a major reason?
Posted on 8/19/26 at 5:12 am to Yaboylsu63
they are going to make LSU the new Carnival University! Just you watch, it's only just begun!
