Hopefully, the LSU admin along with the Gov will get their act together and get this cleaned up ASAP. A big disruption at GameDay would not be pretty. Rivalry's aside, I wouldn't wish this type of BS on even bama.

That, the Ra Shop and the Smoke & Vape shop (to lesser extents, but it's a cumulative effect). If the university were to buy up those properties, forcing those businesses to move further from campus, crowds like that would move with them.

I would bet the majority of LSU Admin believes this is the way of the future for LSU and DEI. LSU until its hurt financially will not move for change

The police presence will be 10 different groups of 5 or 6 uniformed cops standing around bullshitting with each other in the free parking lots out by the levee.
With crowds like what was shown on the video you could find 50 things to write people tickets for, but that would take actual effort from BRPD.

Facts. They don't want to do actual police work. I've never seen more lazy mofos than the cops doing gameday duty. God forbid they actually direct traffic either.

Doesn't sound like this is going to improve any time soon. My kids will be college aged in 4 plus years and we already know we will not look at Baton Rouge. Lots of friends sending kids to Auburn, Arkansas, Tennessee, Ole Miss, and Alabama if they want to stay with SEC state schools now.

LSU is a lost cause. The only way to rectify this is to require a higher minimum ACT score, have LSU buy all property within a 3-5 mile radius of campus, and have competent leadership at the capitol and BRPD. Until our state/city leaders and LSU board of trustees actually show some brazen against this riff raff, LSU will be the laughingstock of the SEC.
I graduated LSU in 2007. My friends from college had this discussion a couple weeks ago. None of us are sending our kids there. And we’re hardcore LSU sports fans.

Trashy. They did this last year too. I read multiple times on social media that these people (like in the video) are going to take over the parade grounds because unity hill got shut down. SO that should be fun.

Dirty little secret… they can’t put in ACT scores or raise the requirements. They need the money from the losers they are letting in.
