Why didn't you move to her country to be closer to your kid?

Seek professional counseling. Saying you don't do it doesnt mean it's not the correct advice.

If you don't move closer, you will eventually be completely phased out of the kids life.

I've only gotten this far, but so far you are completely wrong. This is the first place you should always share this information

You move to be near him if you love him. Or you fight to legally get partial custody. Anything else and you’re not trying.

I wanted to but she has a lot of animosity towards me and just flat out said it ruin her and our sons life if I did because her friends hate and me being there she would have to fit in plans for me to see him in her already busy schedule

She took our son, when he was about a month old, back to the country where she lived, which is far away
How does she have the ability to take your son out of the country post divorce. You said yall agreed to the boy being in the other country. You put that on paper with the courts?

You are the father...You have rights as well. Unless you signed away your parental rights, she can't just take your son.

You have to ask yourself what type of custody situation you want, really, and then go from there.

Hmm, men's rights vs women's rights.

That's her problem. If you want to be closer to your child then do what you have to.

You're going to let past animosity and her friends' feelings ruin your chance to have a relationship with your kid? She should feel privileged you even want to be involved.

I don't know about the UAE, but men usually have more parental rights in other Muslim countries. Look into it.

Too bad. Thats what happens when parents split. Just because she'd be "inconvenienced" doesn't give her the right to keep you from being in your sons life.

You could probably move there and demand custody and they'd throw your spiteful ex in jail

But your kid's gonna hate you if you rob him of a chance of an oil sheikh daddy
